My friend Vanessa commissioned me to design a graphic for her friend’s bachelorette party in Tulum, Mexico. She wanted something special and “not cheesy.” The final art was used for tote bags and temporary tattoos.
I was inspired by the bachelorette’s striking features and her flowing hair, which I played up to evoke beach waves. I also wanted to incorporate the bright colors of Mexican signage. We ultimately settled on the all-black version, with a pop of color to reference the destination.
